We know you care about the environment; in Attends, we also have a great deal concern over the environmental impact of our business. It is our vision to be a sustainable company and this influences how we run our day-to-day business and all the major decisions we’ve made from sourcing, product development, and production to product delivery. We also encourage our employees to ‘think green and act green’ through various initiatives within Attends. Now we want to go a step further by involving you, our consumers, and making relevant information available on our website to enable more informed product choices that are both good for our planet and your wallet.

We believe just like what you have already done in other areas of your life, when it comes to choosing the continence products, you too can make a positive impact on the environment and we are here to make it as easy as possible:

Utilising:
· The product finder in our consumer site to look for the most suitable products according to your situation. By choosing the right product you are more likely to have better fit that prevent leakage and optimum change frequency that avoid the overuse of product. This will reduce the overall impact on the environment by reducing waste and laundry and also the associated costs.

Looking for:
· Smaller products in the same absorbency level: products such as Attends Soft range are up to 50% smaller than traditional bulky products and hence have smaller environmental footprint. These products are more efficient to transport and produce less waste after use. Most importantly, smaller product does work!
· Products with highly compressed packaging: such products have less impact on the environment as the former enables more products to be shipped and stored at your own home and hence reduce the frequency of your order and carbon footprint produced by frequent shipment. Some products such as Attends Cover-Dri range can be 65% more efficient to transport than similar products from different brands.
· Product technology that enable the pad absorbs quickly and leaves the pad drier: such products provide better protection, which means that you change the products less frequently and reduce the number of pads you are using each day and hence less products going to landfill or incineration at the end of the day.

Avoid:
· Using sanitary pads to deal with urinary incontinence as they are not designed to address such problem and will require more products and frequent change that will eventually create more waste.
